Guinness World Records - Friday 21st August 2015
On Friday 21 August 2015 Mt. Stromlo Observatory will lead Australia in attempting to break two Guinness World Records
- Most People Stargazing at a Single Site (Canberra) and Most People Stargazing Across Multiple Sites in a Country
(Australia).
Astronomy Benalla:
Despite cloudy conditions and a bit of a drizzle prior to the viewing, we managed to have 48 official sky watchers that saw
the Moon come out briefly during the 10 minutes viewing period. Jeff was very pleased with the result.
Many of the visitors expressed their sincere thanks at the end of the night.
An excellent team turned out of members and independent assessors.
